Our Biographer programme is designed with two objectives in mind. The first is to provide older adults with access to an online companion to help them build their Family Digital Time Capsule or learn new technology, while alleviating the affects of modern day house bound isolation.
Secondly, we want to provide new jobs to caregivers who may be house bound with their elderly family members. Being able to earn while looking after their loved ones can make a difference in so many ways.Â
The Miigen Biographer programme is ideal for community leaders who are active in their community, be it arranging coffee mornings or organising activity events for older adults.  We bring an activity that is both life affirming and impactful within your community. By encouraging your older adults to tell the story of their life and their community, which at the moment is held captive in a shoebox in the loft gathering dust, we reconnect the person with their earlier life and share it with others.

We are living longer and living longer without our memory. Miigen memories act as memory triggers to help us remember the life we have lived, the people we have loved and the experiences we enjoyed.

We are looking for Biographers
Are you looking for way to make a difference in life? We are looking for tech savvy people to join us on our journey to help older adults retain their memory as long as possible. You will be working in harmony with families to ensure their elderly family members feel connected.
We have an online match making APP for families and Biographers where you can determine the dates and hours you want to work. There is also a “handshaking” process where families can select and approve Biographers in their area to work with their family member.
Local Biographer programme
Make a difference in your community
As a member of our Community Membership programme you will have access to resources and advertising material to enable you run “Meet and Learn” events where families can purchase Biographer hours or Digitising Services. You will earn commission on all sales made at events.
You can determine when you want to run these events and we will arrange payment of venues, be it a stand in a shopping centre, an exhibition stand at a Care or Health related event or a table in you local Library. We will support you to help us grow Miigen and our aims.
